A legendary faculty, along with students who are encouraged to pursue flamenco music genre, makes our program unlike any other in the world­­, New School Jazz alumni have become some of today’s top flamenco guitarists and recording artists.

 

We have been able to bring the most talented young artists to our school and offer them the best possible artistic and academic education. None of this could have happened without the help of friends and alumni who have committed themselves and their resources to the school's future.

The SFGS Fund

 

Offering support to any student with need, this important fund makes a SFGS education possible for many deserving young artists. Gifts in any amount are gratefully welcomed. You can make a donation to the SFGS Fund online.

 

Schorlarships

 

At SFGS, admission has always been based on talent and dedication alone. We believe that no student should be denied a SFGS education for want of funds. With 90 percent of our students typically eligible for financial assistance, every newly created scholarship represents important progress towards SFGS´s goal of securing the resources required to meet their needs. 

 

Innovation

 

SFGS has always been at the TOP of flamenco guitar education, developing the first curricula in flamenco guitar. SFGS promotes contemporary flamenco music education, have extended SFGS´s reach to 3 countries and 10 cities nationwide.

 

SFGS continues to innovate creating first-of-their-kind programs like the Flamenco Music Workshops for Jazz musicians independently the instrumentthey play, and new master diploma in flamenco guitar in Madrid (Spain).
